Hi, Im Kim Vogelsang, owner of Birdsong Bodywork and Pilates, LLC. I have been practicing massage therapy since 2003 and was first introduced to Pilates in 2002 for rehabilitation after low back surgery. Having gone through low back issues including disc herniation, surgery, sacral ligament instability, and sciatica, I can identify with the fear and limitations that come with pain.

Im here because I like to help people, like you, find the freedom to feel at peace in your body through massage and exercise. I like to offer not only manual manipulation of the tissue in order to heal from injury, but also the opportunity to improve your postural awareness with Pilates exercises and apparatus in order to prevent injury.

I have a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin and I studied Clinical Massage Therapy at the Texas Healing Arts Institute with emphasis in Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. I am Certified through the Pilates Method Alliance - PMA. In 2014, I participated in a comprehensive program at Stillpoint Pilates Studio for Classical Pilates under the instruction of Christl Dodge and Lisa Fehrman.

I am on an ever constant projection toward developing my skills as a Bodyworker so that I can better serve you.
